Grip gum is imo, better than a belt sander block as those are much more expensive. The only guy I know who owns a sander block is a camera guy who works with a bunch of local sponsored skaters so he's helping someone clean their board almost every day lol

I had a Dakine DK79 Backpack as a Kid in the early 2000`s. I think it was designed by mike vallely. It was by far the best Skateboarding backpack in my opinion. Look it up. It had 6 rubber plates under the velcro fasteners so that the griptape did not damage the fabric. It also prevented the board to slide down. The best thing was that it had a part with pockets that folded over the board. I wonder why dakine didn't continued it.

This video is super helpful. I was never brave enough as a 10 year old to do this, but at 33 ive gotren back into skating about a month and a half ago and now im already rolling into steep banks and transfers, i havent dropped in yet but im sure this video will help me get the courage to do it. I went down a steep bank/transition today and went up the half pipe and didnt know what to do, i bailed and used my leg to stop and put alotta pressure ij it. It hurt, but inwas mostly sad because it ended my day, but hopefully by monday i will be ready to go again on my new tactics board
